Privacy & data

Where your data lives

Every code, photo, profile field, parking pin, and setting is stored in a local SQLite database inside Snikko's sandboxed app folder on the device, and stays there. The only things that reach our own server are the optional ones you choose: a public profile, or a share link — each sends only a limited set of display fields, never your codes or photos. See the Privacy page for the full breakdown.

What Snikko sends to Firebase

Crash reports (always, when the app crashes), product analytics events (on by default, opt-out in Settings), a push messaging token (only if you allow notifications), and Remote Config fetches (for feature flags).

Turn analytics off

Settings → Analytics. Flip the switch off and Snikko stops sending product events to Firebase Analytics on the next launch.

Delete a stash

Open the stash → Delete. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — the row leaves the local database and any attached photo is removed from app storage.

Export your data (PDPA Section 31)

Snikko does not have an in-app export today. To get a portable copy of the data we hold for you on the device, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, as PDPA requires.
